Influenster’s Prep Vox Box Review

About a month ago I was sent the Prep Vox Box by Influenster and I have been using the products all the time since I’ve got them. As I said before, this is my honest review and thoughts about each product!

If you do not know what Influenster is, it’s a free website/app that you review products on to get free full size and sample size products to give honest reviews for. I have honestly reviewed things negatively in the past and I’ve never gotten  in trouble or anything for it, so believe me when I tell you how I feel about these products! I love Influenster and I have never had a problem with them in the past. Their community is great too!

1) Not Your Mother’s 10-in-1 Spray

I was sent a full sized bottle of the product and I actually really like it! I’m super hesitant to use new products on my hair because I have very curly hair, so I usually only use things that say “for curly hair” or “for natural hair”. This feels great on my hair and back and smells amazing. It is a thermal protectant as well, so I spray it into my damp hair and was able to diffuse my hair without being scared of damaging my hair. My hair felt soft and curlier than usual after using it and diffusing my hair. I also used it recently to straighten my hair with and it was great! My hair doesn’t feel dead or broken after using it. I honestly would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

2) Shea Moisture’s Daily Glow Priming Moisturizer

I love coconut oil and I use it mostly when taking my makeup off, so when using this to just moisturize my skin, especially before makeup, I was a bit skeptical. When first putting it on, it made my skin feel a bit odd, as if I did have oil on my skin, which scared me a bit because I have naturally very oily skin (oily skin means little to no wrinkles later though!), but as I sat with it on for ten minutes, it soaked into my skin and I didn’t feel oily at all AND my skin felt great! I really like this product and I am actually still using it. In the Prep Box, I had received a sample, but Shea Moisture later sent me a full sized jar of it, which I’m happy about! I am personally not very sensitive to coconut oil, but I know some people are to the point of breakout, so I am not sure how it would sit on your face, so if you know you’re sensitive to it, I wouldn’t recommend getting this primer!

3) Frank Body Coconut Body Scrub

This is another’s coconut based product, but this one you can use on both your face and body. I prefer using this on my body just because I have my own scrubs for my face that I prefer using. I love the smell of this product and the feeling. It makes my skin super soft and I am very prone to dry and ‘scaly’ legs (gross, I know). Lotion doesn’t always help, but I believe the coffee scrub gets all the dead skin off and out of the way for the coconut oil to really seep into the skin. I do recommend this to people who have dry skin and need something to help moisturize.

4) Foot Petals Tip Toes

This one was very much appreciated because my feet are always in pain due to school and being on my feet nine or more hours a day. This you just put in your shoes where the ball of your foot would be at and you’re good to go! These are good for anyone and all shoe types. I moved these from shoes to shoes; from my school shoes, to my heels, to my flats, even to my moccasins. I love these and I know Foot Petals have even more amazing products!
